Insights
The main challenge was to balance creative direction with technical execution and cross-team coordination to create content from the ground up.
Working within a lean two-person creative team against a live delivery schedule sharpened both my storytelling instincts and my ability to ship polished work consistently under real-world constraints.
My role
-
I coordinated the end-to-end production workflow between the agency (scripts, VO) and our two-person creative team, managing timelines, deliverables, and version control across episodes.
-
We translated each script into a visual narrative — developing storyboards, defining pacing, and making all creative decisions around how the story would come to life on screen.
-
I was responsible for all motion, compositing, and post-production in After Effects — including scene transitions, blending in the 2D animation made in Toon Boom by my co-director, sound sync, and final export.
-
Developed a scalable character rig in After Effects that adapted to multiple designs and allowed animation recycling across multiple characters. This allowed me to mantain the playful, quirky energy without compromising the efficiency of a complex production pipeline
